Weslock 12721 for Latches Marked 600 Series - fits most keylocks made since 1986

Description

This replacement latch for exterior keylocks works on 600 Series Weslock locks made since 1986. Your latch will be clearly marked 600 Series on the side.  Any other numbers stamped on your latch are casting numbers that don't mean anything.
If your latch is stamped 2 3/8, 2 3/4 or has no markings on the side this is not the latch you need.  Search for Weslock 12644 for narrow barrel 2 3/8" latch.
Latches are shipped with brass radius corner face plates. If you would like another finish, please email me before ordering to check availability.
If your latch has broken due to door alignment issues, replacing the latch will only be a temporary fix and the door or strike plate must be realigned to correct the real problem, or the replacement latch will fail quickly.
As of 8/1/15, Weslock has redesigned their keylock latch to include a beveled deadlocking tab to reduce back pressure that occurs due to door alignment. Your old latch may look slightly different than the latch pictured.
