Circa 1920s. Porcelain over steel case in good condition – bright and shiny. There is paint loss and wear on three corners. Glass is intact, although there are some chips inside along the edges. Appears to be complete, although the figure’s forearm is detached because the little hook that connects it to the arm has come loose. The fix is simple, but I didn’t want to chance a mistake. The machine works – but intermittently - when a penny is inserted. Strong movement as the figure goes back and forth. Also, sometimes starts working on its own when the machine is moved in certain positions. Don’t have gum to test the release mechanism. Measures 20 ½ inches high, 9 inches wide, 4 ½ inches deep. Weighs about 18 pounds. Great addition to your vintage coin operated machine collection.
Note that the forearm and hook will be wrapped separately inside the machine.
