    Description

    Like New.  Lacquered and either Mother-of-pearl or abalone artisan workings/ insets for the characters of the Nativity (Jesus, Mary, Joseph, wise men, shepherds.) The three paneled screen is hinged and is a little over 16" tall.  Each panel is approximately 8.25" x 16.25" x 3/8" with a slight curve / arch on each panel.  One of the hinges needs attention, as seen in the last photo - not missing the rod, but off its track.  Does not distract from function nor cosmetics.  The back sides of each panel is "blank" and just lacquered surface.  Anything you see on the front and back of the panels are reflections of our highly windowed / lighted home.  The lacquered surfaces are flawless.    The artwork well done.
    Downsizing home, so looking for a new curator of the piece.  Non-smoker home.
