    Description

This 52-page guide was put out by the American Women's Association of Saigon in order to help men and women coming to the country of Vietnam for the first time, presumably in the "advisory" capacity around 1962. (The guide has been revised in 1962 and printed in Vietnam).
    Size: 9" x 6 1/4"
It has a great deal of useful information, from traffic rules to specific shops and places to get things done, to weather and currency, festivals and useful phrases. It's for Americans who will be living there for awhile.
The fold-out map attached in the back of the book shows a Saigon that is long gone and will be of particular interest to the collector. The owner of the book has mapped out some places in pencil. It's a fascinating look back in time.
