  • Condition: (Please examine ALL photos carefully and read ENTIRE description before placing a bid.) Features a hinged handle, two different etched birds and flowers on the sides, and intricate openwork lid of berries and leaves. I am reasonably sure that it is brass, but it is a very pale brassy color... The piece measures 3" tall including lid, and the raised handle adds another 1-1/4"; bowl is 3-3/4" in diameter at its widest. It is in very good vintage condition as pictured, with visible tarnish and verdigris on the inside.

    Beautiful antique Brass Cricket Cage Jar or Incense Trinket Box. Features a hinged handle, two different etched birds and flowers on the sides,  and intricate openwork lid of berries and leaves.
    I am reasonably sure that it is brass, but it is a very pale brassy color... The piece measures 3" tall including lid, and the raised handle adds another 1-1/4";  bowl is 3-3/4" in diameter at its widest.  It is in very good vintage condition as pictured, with visible tarnish and verdigris on the inside.
