    Description

    Up for sale is a vintage antique Japanese or Chinese hand painted porcelain 7.25" plate recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area.  Gorgeous for display between uses, unusual blue background and shape.  Lovely bird, tree blossoms, and orange lotus? peony?  Very colorful.  Minor glaze glitches common with early 1900 pieces but could be mid-century, do not believe it to be any younger than that but could be antique, best guess 1920s.  Beautiful.  Not seeing cracks or chips, shows use on the foot but not abuse.  Great for the wall with a hanger.  Nice in an easel, plate rail etc. Great displayed flat as well on a table etc.  Thick porcelain, good weight, quality piece.  Unsigned.
