This cable railing kit works great for metal post or wood post. The threaded stud is already swaged onto the cable, you will just need to select the proper length of cable and push the cable through all posts to tension it with our swageless fitting. Our swagelss fitting will lock cable. The next step is to tighten the cable from the threaded stud side, that is where the thread locker is recommended to prevent our nut washer from loosening. Once the cable is tight, cut the extra cable and extra length of thread on the stud to make it flush, then apply our snap on cap to finish your job.
We recommend
1.
Adding thread locker to the nut washer, either blue or red to prevent the nut washer from loosening.
2.
Use an angle grinder to cut the extra cable and extra thread after the cable is tightened. It should be flush for the caps.
3.
Then put the caps onto the nut washer and fitting.

2. Install the cable through all the post and add the quick hold swageless piece at the back end of your end post and pull the cable to fully tighten.
