    Description

    This is a trio arrangement of the folk song
    Shenandoah
    written for 2 Alto recorders and cello at the request of an ensemble.  The cello part is also playable by bass recorder or bassoon, and the the 2 top parts are in a good flute range - so there are many possible combinations.  This is NOT just a straight harmonization of the melody, but a unique and enjoyable arrangement, with the melody featured in the 3rd voice at the beginning.  It is not technically difficult, but not for beginners either!
