Heavy duty Circa 1930’s Northernwestern Art Deco Vintage short Globe Deluxe Machine Works 1&5 Cent W/Key. Condition is "Used". The machine still works, has a one and five cent slot. The five cent slot get you five turns and the one cent slot gets you one turn. The mechanics in this machine are very complicated, so this is a benefit that the machine still functions. It’s a short globe model and The machine is made of steel with a steel chrome lid with a thick green coat of paint believed to be porcelain. Overall the machine still works however Does need some oil. Again, I do not have the key for the top of the.
The glass is in pretty good condition with the exception of some scratch marks on the back ( please see pictures for details). Comes with the original key, however this key only opens the side door and not the top of the machine. I do not have the key for the top of the machine. The door opens however when you close the door you have to put a coin inside and turn the knob while closing the door. I’m not sure if this is the way the machine is intended to be or if the door just needs repairs from over the years. Closing the door give you a bit of a challenge however will close when turning the front knob.
