How to Install:
Step 1: Measure your wood post and divide the height into equal distance for each run and mark it.
Step 2: Use our 5mm drill bit to pre-drill holes at where you mark the dots, this will make your installation much easier
Step 3: Lag Screw Stud Side---Screw end fitting terminals into the pre-holes with a wrench, then insert cable all the way in and crimp twice to make sure it won't get loosen.
Step 4: Lag Screw Turnbuckle Side---Screw in the lag screw of turnbuckle with a wrench, then extend the turnbuckle, this will leave some spare space for tensioning the cable in the end.
Step 5: Grab the cable straight to measure the length of each run, mark it down on the cable with an ink pen and cut. (Generally the suggest length=Distance between holes of 2 ends – 6’’)
Step 6: Insert the cable in and crimp twice, then rotate the turnbuckle to tighten the wire rope and lock down the nuts with your wrench.
***This cable railing kit can be used to make horizontal or vertical railings, or any angled railings for stair railing. But you need a special tool to drill an angled hole.
