stunning Hmong Story Cloth wall hanging depicting a vast intricate animal and river scene. The top of the cloth shows animals gathered by trees by snowey mountaintops and a waterfall. Down the cloth, a vast colorful array of animals can be seen around a winding river.
Origin and date are unknown. it is also unknown if this is hand or machine made as they have been known to be be either. ( stitches in the geometric quilting around the outside are very even which suggests that the border is at least machine made).
This is a large Story cloth, that can be hung on a wall for display ( no rod or hanging loops are on this)
Would look beautiful in a baby's nursery or child's room
