    Hmong Story Cloth Hand Embroidered Folk Art Fabric Panel.
    Embroidered scene of attack on a Hmong village.
    The story  cloth is about 15" square.
    It is professionally framed in a simple plastic black 17" square frame.

    The Hmong people used these story cloths to capture scenes of them being driven from their homes in Southeast Asia during /after the Vietnam war.
    These story cloths were often made by the Hmong women while they were in refugee camps after the war, and later after many had migrated to the United States.
    The cloths date from the 1960s to the 1980s.
