On sale is a  fluorescence set fitting the following NIKON microscopes:LABOPHOT ,LABOPHOT 2,OPTIPHOT AND ALPHAPHOT MICROSCOPES. In fact it will fit any microscope that takes a flange of 49mm in diameter. The kit consists of: the main vertical illuminator-fluorescence attachment, three filter blocks marked B,U and G with their rubber casings,THREE fluorescence sliders marked: 515W,580W and 420K. These sliders are 27mm wide and 4.7mm thick. [They will also fit the Nikon Biophot and Metaphot.]
There are some extra filters included. The kit is very versatile: one can easily replace the filter sets [not expensive on Ebay] when more particular fluorophores are to be used.
