    Description

    Hello, you are viewing my sale for an Antique/Vintage Chinese Japanese Panel Or Screen.  This panel has a lovely Jade Relief On Wood Backing.  This is panel #3.  It is a Large Chinese Japanese Panel or Screen that measures 36" tall by 13" wide by 5/8" thick.  I am not certain that this item is made of various colored Jade however when it is touched it is cold.  My opinion states that this is cut Jade.  This is only my opinion however.  I believe that this screen was part of a larger screen.  There is wear on specific areas of this screen around the areas where hands would have been grabbing it or moving it.  There is a piece of "Jade" missing from the top section of the flower.   I am uncertain of the true age of this item however it does show a great age and beauty to it.  This is a magnificent item.
