    Description

    Authentic handcrafted hand-woven Rattan backpack from the Philippines.
    These packs, known as pasikings, were constructed by Ingorots of the northern Philippines during the 1970s and are considered exemplars of functional basketry by native Filipinos. They were often utilized by Filipino students in the 70s and 80s to show support for National activism.
    Basket itself has two straps for wearing as a backpack and a removable top that can be secured in place using the woven cord that is attached to the backpack.
    Base of this pack measures 12 in by 7 in and the interior is approximately 12in deep

    This item is in excellent condition and has been well preserved.
