    Description

    Beautiful Asian-theme 4-panel tabletop folding screen with vignettes formed of carved shell.
    I'm guessing this may be a 'four seasons' theme.
    The scenes are made up of individual carved pieces of what appears to be shell or mother of pearl, on a gold backing that appears to be paper (it's not fabric).     Bordered with bands of orange and gold tapestry-like fabric.   All of that under glass.
    The frame is wood with glossy black finish, with open-work accent at the bottom.  The hinges are a dark brass tone.
    The back has hand-painted scenes that I'm guessing also may have a 'four seasons' theme.
    Does show small signs of wear; there are several small dings/chips/scratches on the wood frame that have been touched up; please see condition notes and pics.
    But construction is sold; no loose joints; hinges work smoothly.
    Unbranded; no markings.
    Makes a gorgeous display!
