This lovely antique basket stands tall with incredible craftsmanship and understated artistic beauty. Created in the early 20th century by a Hill tribe craftsperson in the Golden Triangle where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar come together. This basket was created for storing and transporting food and other necessities.

Basket is in good antique condition. This is a utilitarian functional piece and presents wear from this use. The laquer on one side has come off and there are small chips in laquer here and there.
