    Headboard halyard shackles, sometimes called tack shackles, are precision cast with a captive pin
    Captive pin means you will never lose the pin as it will remain attached to the body, even when open
    This longer d-shackle is used to attach halyards to sails, even ones fitted with headboards
    Additional loop at the end of the shackle to keep the headboard from chafing the eye of the halyard

    Our headboard halyard shackles, sometimes called tack shackles, are precision cast with a captive pin.
