Cops probing what happened to scooter rider who died while riding through N.J. city

Trenton police are investigating what led to the death of a scooter rider last week.
Dwayne Jackson, a 49-year-old city resident, died after falling from this motorbike on Nov. 26, according to police. Jackson was pronounced dead after being brought to Capital Health Regional Medical Center.
A car was found at the scene, but police said they were investigating whether or not the vehicle was at fault for Jackson’s death.
“We are unsure if the driver struck the victim or if other circumstances not involving the driver of the vehicle led to the victim’s injuries,” Trenton Det. Lt. Lisette Rios told NJ Advance Media.
Jackson was taken to the hospital around noon, police said. He and his bike were found on Greenwood Avenue.
No other information about the crash was available Monday.
